Forklift Steel Pallet Bin Model 2031
Our Universal Pallet Bin is designed for both cranes and forklifts These bins are pallet sized at 48 by 40 inches. When you see the capacity getting larger on them, it’s simply getting taller. The larger sizes end up with more structural rigidity so you’ll see the safe working load (SWL) going up concurrently.
These bins can stack. They are caster ready. Lift them with a crane and they come with the ASME B30.20 rating that exceeds OSHA requirements. We can make lids for these. And we also have a tipper that would be largely for industrial applications that you’ll find a picture for.
Relative to fish totes that contractors regularly use that are commonly rated for 1500 lbs with a forklift, this is a safe way for mechanical contractors to lift items with a crane. The prices will strike one a higher to buy the steel rated item. When you factor in the lifespan of a steel bin, you’ll find that we are only a few hundred dollars off between a fish tote and a steel bin. Moreover, you remove the risk of plastic facing embrittlement and when that becomes a failure point. The cost of that risk is monumental. Moreover, the operational savings of being able to hook in will save you many thousands of dollars over 30 years. There really isn’t a comparison between a quality long term efficient product like this versus making due with a fish tote and building frames for it and hoping you get it out of service before it fails during a crane lift, which would be catastrophic.
If the Universal Skips would serve your needs well, we’d look forward to taking care of you today. Contact sales@cranegear.net for a quote that includes the shipping.
